Silhouette
by Simon Brett
directed by Jim Worrallo
Silhouette is a complex and mind-bending mystery thriller.
The action of the play is reversed. The curtain opens on the aftermath of a grisly murder. A dead man sits in his study, shot in the head and covered in his own blood. Investigators arrive and, by the end of Act I, have apparently solved the crime.
All is not as it appears however. Act II is set before the murder and as events unfold inexorably toward the shooting it becomes clear that the truth of the matter is shockingly different.
Silhouette was performed in the Garrick Theatre in 2004. |
