New Logo Competition!

 

 
 

 

Redesign the Lichfield Players logo and see your creativity splashed over thousands of posters and flyers – be the name behind our logo for years to come!

Lichfield Players are really grateful for the support we’ve received over the years from the local community which is why we want to involve you in the redesign of who we are.

The Lichfield Players produce five shows a year at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre in the intimate Studio setting and main auditorium –and this season we will be on stage over the course of seven weeks. We pride ourselves on a dynamic, engaging programme for each new season - from comedy and thrillers to serious drama – and push our boundaries by forging professional partnerships, most recently with the Garrick Rep Company and in April 2010 with award-winning Amington Brass Band. And not only do our members act and direct, but also manage the backstage and technical elements of production, so that everything you see as an audience member has been generated in house.

A critic said of our December production ‘The Anniversary’ that we “...must surely be the envy of many professional outfits.” And this is exactly what we want to convey when people see our new logo on display.

How to enter

We’re looking for anyone interested to submit a concept – a visual interpretation of how you think we could best be represented in logo form. Use colour, typeface and your own creativity to produce a design that’s unique and striking and that you feel captures the essence of who the Lichfield Players are. The words ‘Lichfield Players’ must be part of any design.

Entries can be hand-drawn or electronically generated and must be submitted by 28 th February 2010. See below for submission details.

And for the lucky winner...

You’ll have the fantastic opportunity to see your concept developed by Igloo57, a Lichfield-based design agency who have worked for high profile clients across the travel, sport, leisure and music industries (www.igloo57.com). The finished logo will become the new identity for the Lichfield Players, displayed on all promotional material around the city.

 

The winner will also be credited in all production programmes for the 2010-11 season and receive two complimentary 2010-11 season tickets for Lichfield Players’ shows.
